Dear

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for.

Over the past two years, thousands of Australians signed our Coral Sea e-petition, including you.  Now I am asking you to do one more thing.

Right now the Environment Minister Tony Burke is considering how much of Australia’s Coral Sea to protect. Unbelievably, he's planning to leave 90% of the coral reefs unprotected.

We need your help now to tell the Minister what you think of his draft plan.

World-renowned oceanographer Dr Sylvia Earle has said that our Coral Sea is a rare thing – a place where majestic ocean going fish like tuna, marlin and sharks, can still be found in great numbers. She calls it a ‘hope spot’.

Hope Spots like the Coral Sea are special places that are critical to the health of the ocean, Earth's blue heart.

We need to keep that blue heart beating.

Take action today and send the Environment Minister a clear message that he needs to protect all the reefs and critical breeding areas in the Coral Sea.

The Australian government could create the world’s largest marine national park, a beacon that keeps our ocean’s future bright.

Let’s take this giant leap forward for humanity’s custodianship of the sea. Send a rapid submission today to ensure that the Coral Sea and its spectacular marine life receives the high level of protection it deserves.

Best Fishes!
